How to make your embroidery machine more profitable.
GMI laser III is the most recent generation of laser bridge cutting machine made by GMI srl.
The laser bridge technology applied to embroidery machines was born in the year 2000 and in 11 years it has become more and more popular because it gives to embroiderers the possibility to open the doors to new markets.
The GMI laser machine, in fact, can be used not only to cut out embroidered appliqués or to engrave fabrics, rather it can be used also to create new effects and to combine different decoration technologies.

The laser bridge machine is made of a laser unit that sits on a bar over and above existing embroidery machine. It is completely independent of the embroidery machine but works in harmony with it.
The principle is that the GMI laser travels from one embroidery head to another and stops at each location or head and either cuts, engraves or does both. This cutting and engraving is determinate by your digitizing.

The laser bridge system can be placed over one or more embroidery machines, roller devices, cutting tables, automatic rhinestone setting machines, automatic eyelets/studs/rivets setting devices, which can be interfaced to GMI driver software.
Therefore it is possible to combine different decoration techniques in the same design, with less effort and more accuracy than doing each of them separately.
The decoration that can be done with the GMI laser system cannot be done manually, thus you differentiate your production from others and be sure they can hardly be imitated.
GMI produces different laser bridge systems to satisfy both massive production needs and low budget requests.
